About Me

If someone else can do it, you can learn it too.

The above sentence is in many ways the foundations of where I am today, and how I wish to look at the world. It is both a mindset and a way of life, and one I think could really help people, if they believed in too. It’s about curiosity and a desire to understand and learn, to be able to express yourself and be self-driven. Most of all it is about believing in yourself, never giving up and a desire to achieve something with your life.

Work & Education

I have a bachelors degree in Medialogy from Aalborg University, and is currently finishing my MSc in Game Design at the IT-University Copenhagen, which has really turned out to be an amazing journey! Apart from this, I’m a self-taught web developer, game designer, hobby photographer and aspiring entrepreneur. Currently, as an addition to my studies, I’m working as a freelance web developer and consultant with my own company eLoop. On top of that I’m co-founder and system designer at the game company Decent Machine (currently developing Gunjitsu) and also partner in the Danish company CPHmade,

Purpose

Will Smith once said – the key to life:

There is no problem you can have that someone hasn’t already solved, and wrote about it in a book.

For the wild-wild-web however I’m not sure that is entirely true, but that is not my point. I think the quote holds another very important message, that we need to share our knowledge and findings, to help others in not making the same mistakes we did. That is one of the purposes of this blog; to not only showcase my work and projects, but also share some of the knowledge, ideas, thoughts and findings I have stumble across along the way.

I really hope you find something interesting or useful here on the page, or at least something that will make you stop and think for a moment yourself.

With all that said, happy reading and thanks for stopping by!

Best regards,

Asser Dueholm
